Tommy Childs

Tommy has over 18 years of experience coaching children in primary schools.  Throughout his career he has worked in a wealth of primary school settings coaching curricular and extra-curricular lessons and clubs. Since 2008 Tommy has worked at Trimley St Martin Primary School and is a well-established member of the teaching team as well as a Co – opted Governor. Tommy has been successful in raising the profile of sports at Trimley St Martin Primary School and children are given a variety of opportunities to take part in sport, including competitions.  Tommy played a crucial role in leading the school to achieve the Gold Sports Mark.
Tommy holds a degree in Sports Coaching & Development, Level 1 and 2 in coaching football and many other NGB qualifications in sports such as Tag Rugby, Hockey, Basketball, Tennis, Gymnastics, Swimming, Cricket, Rounders, ultimate Frisbee and more…
He holds First Aid, and Child Protection qualifications, as well as being DBS registered.
In his spare time Tommy manages one of the Benhall Badgers Cubs teams and is also Treasurer and committee member for Benhall Badger youth team.
